Little Bird

Crooks penned the songs on 'Little Bird' during the past four years in which she made two extended trips to India, performed extensively throughout the Western U.S., and was named to Music Connection magazine's 2012 list of HOT 100 Live Unsigned Artists & Bands. Continuing her habit of writing literate and diverse Americana music, the 11 new tunes on Little Bird' reflect both her global perspective and varied musical influences. Calling in noted jazz artist, multi-instrumentalist and composer Art Khu (Jacqui Naylor, East Bay Symphony Orchestra) to arrange and produce, 'Little Bird' explores a range of musical territories including reggae and funk, straight-ahead rock and roll and balladry.
