USドゥーム・メタル重鎮TROUBLEの1990年作4THアルバムが発売35周年記念盤としてErwin Hermsen によるによるリマスターで再登場。本作はバンドのキャリアにおける頂点とも称される名盤で、ヘヴィメタル史に残る傑作として今なお輝きを放つ。デビュー作から6年、バンドは音楽性を成熟させ卓越したソングライティング、緻密なプロダクション、円熟したEric Wagnerのボーカルを兼ね備え、最も完成度の高い作品を生み出した。オープナー「At the End of My Daze」からラスト「All Is Forgiven」まで、全曲に印象的なリフが散りばめられ、ギタリストBruce FranklinとRick Wartellのリード・ワークも圧巻。従来のダーク・ドゥームからややリラックスしたストーナー的要素も加わるが、ヘヴィメタルとしての核は揺るがず、革新性と成熟を両立させている。今回のリリースにはテキサス州ダラスでのライヴ音源を収めたボーナスCDも付属し、TROUBLEの名演とオリジナル・アルバムの魅力をあわせて堪能できる、歴史的再発盤である。
