Dead Can Dance is a world fusion music band that was formed in Melbourne, Australia, in August 1981, by Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry. Dead Can Dance commemorates it's ongoing reunion with the new live CD called IN CONCERT, capturing performances from the bands 2012 U.S. tour. Last year, Dead Can Dance released their first album in sixteen years, ANASTATIS on [PIAS] America which has sold 25K RTD. On tour now!

「アナスタシス・ワールド・トゥアー」の名...

「アナスタシス・ワールド・トゥアー」の名の通り、「アナスタシス」から８曲全曲が収録されている。他のアルバムからも代表曲が選曲されているが、興味深いのは、ＤＣＤも数曲に参加していたThis Mortal CoilのIt’ll End In Tearsから、Dreams Made Fleshと、ティム・バックリーのカバー曲であるSong To The Siren（この曲はシングルカットされて大ヒットした）が選曲されていることである。後者はＴＭＣではコクトー・トゥウィンズのエリザベス・フレーザーが歌っていたが、本作ではブレンダンが朗々としたバリトン・ヴォーカルを披露している。全体として、初めて聞く人も今までのファンの人も楽しめる良作だと思う。
