テンプテーションズで得た名声、ドラッグに溺れた低迷期。傲慢、我が儘、破天荒。デビッドラフィンには、いつもそんなイメージが付きまとう。でも、ワーナーでの２作は、まさに70年代ソウルの決定版。声の艶、色気、男らしさ。ボーカリストとして不世出な存在です。彼の全てのソロアルバムをCD化して欲しい。ただし、ＢＯＸは御法度。
