Last Fish

My father was a hard working man who loved the music of Hank Williams Sr and the ocean where he engaged in his favorite pastime. For as long as I can remember, the single photo he carried in his wallet was the thirty pound striped bass he caught in 1955. Thanks to my dear friend, Jon Ramsey, my father got his last wish. The ocean was rough that day. My father said he really didn't care if the sea took him and left it up to Jon and I to make the call. Off we went in an eleven foot aluminum boat. Thanks to the expert guidance of one of Mendocino's greatest sea dogs, my father caught his personal best and last fish. This debut solo album is a tribute to my father who taught me the guitar and showed me how to protect and care for Mother Earth and all of her creations.
