'Good Day Today' will sit comfortably among classic tracks from both Kraftwerk and Booka Shade, with throbbing, high-tech production, vocoded lyrics and unforgettable chorus hook. Features five remixes each of 'Good Day Today' and 'I Know'. The tracks have been remixed by such luminaries as Sasha, Underworld, Skream and Jon Hopkins, amongst others. Artwork designed by Vaughan Oliver, 23 Evelope/4AD fame.

収録されている曲は2曲のみ、Good Day とI Knowの2曲とそれのRemix集。海外盤との値段の比較を見れば、今の内にこの国内盤をGetしておくのが得策。内容はRemixのなんたるかを如実に示した傑作。まずオリジナルの2曲が提示されます。リンチの声は電気的変調が加えられてはいるものの、なかなかチャーミングな声。その音は彼の映画を思わせるようなダークで捻じれたテクノハウス系。この2曲のあとに、錚々たるメンツがRemixした曲が続き63分が過ぎて行く。各リミキサー達が、各自の持ち味の中に曲を落とし込み、ブッタ切り刻み、素晴らしい音響空間が繰り広げられます。1枚のアルバムとして聴いても、たった2曲のリミックス集と片づけることのできない、様々な色合い、響きがあります。アートワークも雰囲気に合ってるし。オススメな良盤です。
