Digitally remastered reissue of the second solo album by the Pink Floyd guitarist/vocalist, originally released in 1984. Far more commercial and accessible than his stunning first solo venture, this sophomore album was released after the dissolution of the original Pink Floyd line-up and prior to their resurgence sans Roger Waters. 自慢じゃないけど、当時、FENでイントロが...

自慢じゃないけど、当時、FENでイントロが流れた瞬間、｢あ、ギルモアだ！｣って判ったね。その後にＬＰを購入して、Blue Lightと知った。ソロ一作目と異なり、フロイド無き後、個人力での生き残りを図る｢売るため｣の作品。結果、彼はピンク・フロイド名義での作品発表の道を選んだわけだ。穿ち過ぎですか？

ジェフ・ポーカロ参加の額面通りの、ピンク（“・フロイド”部分欠落）ＴＯＴＯサウンド。①ノリ良し、ＨＭＶのリヴューが言うように新ピンク・フロイド・トリオに通じる印象。どうも全体的にパッとしないが、けっこう水準は高い。

ファーストアルバムよりはポップ度が増してるけど、かわいた、物悲しいギターサウンドは、この人ならではのもの。あらためて、ピンクフロイドの中核だったのだと、思い知らされます。大人のロックという感じですね。
