He's a musicians musician who's played with everyone from Dylan to the Dead, from Ringo and George to Willie Nelson - a man who's amassed a huge following since his 1960's beginnings. After a long break from performing, his 2007 comeback album TRY ME ONE MORE TIME was nominated for a Grammy. For this project David asked his friends John Hiatt, Levon Helm, Tim Obrien, Keb Mo, Los Lobos, Doctor John, Widespread Panic, Linda Ronstadt and Vince Gill to each write a song for him and produce him performing it. The result is this celebration of one of Americas roots music masters.
