ジャズと見れば、これはこれでおもしろいのかも知れないが、どうしても、いろんな名演と聞き比べてしまい、感動がわき上がってこない。何よりも、リズムのもたつきが気になる。しいて言えば、クラシックのバックグラウンド・ミュージックとして価値が見いだされるか？

Jazz guitarist Lee Ritenour and Jazz pianist Dave Grusin collaborate again. In the past they always play strong sense jazz fuson, but this time they play classics in jazzy way together. By playing the classical guitar and piano and featuring such guests as Renee Fleming, Gil Shaham, James Walker, Julian Lloyd Webber, this album is very unique in the sense that the songs are romantic, tranquil, and soulful.
