DJ Shadow監修のファンクコンピレーション。膨大なレコードのコレクターとして知られるShadow秘蔵の音源集を集めたCDの第2弾（第1弾は5年前にこっそり発売）。しかし、このアイテム、Shadow自身のレーベル＜Cali-Tex＞からの発売ということからもわかるとおり、かなり趣味性が強いもの。ここで彼がセレクトしているのは、高校・大学生によるスクールバンドの王道ファンクカバー。James BrownやOhio Players、Dennis Coffeyなどの名曲をライヴ録音したもの。この手のスクールバンド系作品はノベルティー的性質上コレクターの中でも収集するのが難しいとされている部類。まさにコレクター中のコレクターであるShadowならではの音源。さらにドラム･ブレイク・ソングも収録。CD、レコードともに全世界3000枚の限定プレスとなります。
