- Liars & Thieves - A wise man once said, 'we are all made of star stuff.' -- The very make up of our own bodies comes from stars long dead. An inconceivably vast radical change or restructuring of or relating to the universe, especially as distinct from the earth. Cosmic Shakedown. The band formed in late 2010 and over the course of the next two years they gigged extensively, released an EP followed by a full length debut album, Fake American Dream (2012). As the band began to evolve, the universe shifted and a new path became clear. Larry, Tony, & Shea join together with Harold to embark on a musical journey; creating a soulful, rockin', funky, bluesy, down & out, folky, trippy, rust belt rock-y kinda' sound. The future is unwritten and Cosmic Shakedown is ready to fight to give the universe something it needs. Playing a crowd pleasing blend of heavy rock, bluesy funk, and neo-psychedelia, the band has produced a musical collage with their first EP.
