Songs To Celebrate Our 40th Anniversary

The choir is a Welsh male voice choir of about 34 members and they are conducted by Ann Atkinson who is also a well known mezzo-soprano who has travelled to many parts of the world to perform. The choir is named after the famous Welsh prince Owain Glyndwr who lived in the same area .

An inspirational statue of Owain mounted on his charger has pride of place in the small town of Corwen,North Wales where the choir is based. The choir is a registered charity and performs concerts and attends functions and weddings to raise money for worthy causes such asThe Multiple Sclerosis Society, The British Heart Foundation and Parkinsons' Research. All the choir members are locals who enjoy the fun of performing and the friendly social interaction that is always an important aspect of being a member. The choir's repertoire is quite extensive and quite varied thanks to Ann Atkinson's leadership and the choir can move seamlessly from a traditinal Welsh favourite like ''Calon Lan ' to more recent songs like ''The Rose''and ''Rhythm of Life'' This is the choir's first official CD and it has been created to celebrate the forty years of performing since it was established in 1973.
