Jesus Is My Dentist (Live In Portland)

On the eve of his 30th birthday, DC-based singer/songwriter Collin Warren returned to his longtime home of Portland, OR, to make a live-concert recording. The resulting album, Jesus Is My Dentist: Live in Portland, marks the singer/songwriter's first major release. Recorded in one shot, in front of an intimate audience at Mississippi Pizza's Atlantis Lounge, the album features a collection of unreleased songs written over the last 10 years. Songs, such as the title track and 'Morrison,' harken back to Collin's days as a humbler (somewhat darker) Portland twenty-something-- while Mellotron and Walking In Chicago recount his move to Chicago and his first experiences as an audio engineer in the city's bustling music scene. Finally, with Strange Kind of Angel and Two Cats, Collin takes us to present day DC, where an older Collin has married and begun settling down with, you guessed it- two cats.
