Product Description

This new release from naive brings together three composers who knew each other and worked together in Paris in the first half of the nineteenth century: Berlioz, Reber and Liszt. The works presented here offer a panorama of French musical tastes of the years 1830-1850. Two of them are world premiere recordings: Reber's Symphony no.4 and the world premiere recording of Liszt's Piano concerto no.1 on period piano, performed by Bertrand Chamayou, whose Liszt Annees de Pelerinage recent recording got an outstanding praise from the international press.

たまたま店頭で、カップリングされているリ...

たまたま店頭で、カップリングされているリストのピアノ協奏曲を聴きたくて試聴しました。しかしついでに聴いたルベルの交響曲に心酔し、購入しました。分かり易く耳触りの良い曲で、私にとっては「名曲」と言うよりは自分を癒してくれる「大切にしたい曲」という感じです。 演奏は、センスが良く溌剌としていて好感が持てます。録音も各楽器の音色をよく拾っていて優秀だと思います。
