The United States Air Force Band presents over 100 concerts annually and performs a wide variety of repertoire from light classics, popular favorites, and instrumental features, to classical transcriptions and original works for the band idiom. Remaining true to the Air Force's pioneering spirit, the Concert Band has established an international reputation as a champion of new works for band, with dozens of world premieres to it's credit.

アメリカで毎年開催されている、ミッドウエスト・クリニックのライブ盤、これは、アメリカ空軍ワシントンD.C中央軍楽隊演奏による物。 指揮者は2002〜2009年にかけて隊長を務めたD.ラインデッカー大佐と、かつてこのバンドの隊長だった、ガブリエル大佐が客演指揮しています。 いくつかあるアメリカ空軍の軍楽隊でもトップクラスの楽団だけあり、技術の不足はありませんし、音楽性は高いレベルにあり、またとても楽しい演奏です。 特にマーチのリズム感は本当に上手い。 ただ、このレーベルなら良いほうだと思いますが、硬質で残響があまりない録音であり、そのあたりは好みが分かれるかも知れません。
