５１枚全てが名盤という、まさに驚異的なセット。どの演奏からも、円熟した指揮者の「覚悟」と、それに応えようとするオーケストラの集中力がひしひしと伝わります。このセットは、きっと末永く聴き続けることになるんだろうな・・・。本当に素晴らしい遺産を残してくださったデイヴィス氏に、心から感謝！
