トランペッターのクラーク・テリーがフリューゲルホルンを吹いている1958年作品。モンクがサイドマンとして参加しているだけでなく、キャノンボール・アダレイのベーシストだったサム・ジョーンズや、ビル・エヴァンスのお気に入りドラマー、フィリー・ジョー・ジョーンズも参加。当時クラークは絶頂期にあり、カウント・ベイシーやデューク・エリントンのステージで頻繁に存在感を示すようになっていた。モンク・ファンには、「Let's Cool One」（ピアニストによる唯一の作曲）や、テリーの絹のように滑らかな 「One Foot in the Gutter 」、切ない 「Argentia 」も聴きものだ。
