以前編集盤で全曲ＣＤ化はされていた７８年のディスコ・アルバムが拡張盤で発売です。元スウィート・インスピレーション、言わずと知れたホイットニーの母上様ですが、亡き愛娘よりもハイ・トーンで時にディープに、また時にロリータ・ハロウェイやジョスリン・ブラウンばりのディスコ・ディーヴァが如く激しいシャウトを聴かせてくれます。マイケル・ゼーガー全面プロデュースで、ディスコ曲は「レッツ・オール・チャント」同様のチャカポコ、パーカッシヴで流麗なオーケストレーションを施したサウンドですが、ホイットニーが歌いそうなポップ・バラード「I Just Want〜」をディープに崩して歌うあたり、さすがのゴスペルで培った実力発揮です。全体に耳に残るメロディの曲が多く、ダンクラのみならずソウル／R＆Bヴォーカル・ファンに大オススメ。因みに日本盤アルバムのタイトルは『ニューヨーク・ディスコの女王』（！！）でした。
