1998年英国最大の大穴！！　だったチャンバワンバ。M1「タブサンピン」の全英１位に驚いてたら、あれよあれよ、という間にビルボードの上位に食い込むスマッシュ・ヒット！！　日本でも某酒造メーカーのＣＦやＴＶ番組での使用が相次ぎ、お問い合わせ殺到でした。もともとポリティカル・パンクの急先鋒だった彼ら。実はそのアングラな姿勢と政治色濃いメッセージ性の強い歌詞が、イギリスで事あるごとに議論を呼び、正に”鬼っ子”として知られる存在だったのです。本作でもそうした部分はジャケや歌詞に顕れていて、それをダンサブルなポップ・ソングに乗せたままのあのヒットは痛快そのものでした。
