A trip down memory lane, complete with that dirty, scratchy 45 RPM record sound. Dust off Granpa's ole' record player, pop on this 45 and get in my head for 6 minutes of ROCK!! This 1 has a fun Country'sh riff at the open, reminiscent of what an ole' Cowboy would have played on a porch, in a ghost-town by the OK Corral, somewhere out west while sip'n on some moonshine, watch'n tumbleweeds roll by at sundown just before slap'n leather with some ornery huckleberry, I reckon.. With some heavy changes and a melodic lead that tells the story, this one's sure to inspire at least 2-3 fellow guitar players to pick up the axe, put down the rule/theory books and JUST PLAY!! ..

MY ONLY HOPE ..

The Dark side of the force is with me on this one. This is my first solo CD with a live band, RyDawg & The Jerminata REALLY lay it down, hold it all together and make these tunes come to life!! Cool, Rock friendly rhythm section with Metal groove for days, one of my current fav's. The first 3 sections are basically 3 interpretations of the same riff, which I had in my head for a couple years. The verse has some Maiden gallop'n, a Jimi trill and some Metal Chug'n, a perfect transition to introduce the lead, a heat'd discussion between 2 guitars only a person who can listen with their heart (not their ears) can decipher. The final showdown at the end completes the story which is simple; 'Music, particularly my music and my ability to write and play is my only hope..' Turn out the lights, close your eyes, dig that melody and LISTEN, i'm talk'n to YOU!
