日本ではおそらく私ほどChico DeBargeにほれ込んでいるファンはいないと自負します。ちょっとX−RATEDでねちっこい歌詞と、体の奥底から振り絞るような強さと甘さが交わったようなディープな歌声、一度聞いたら忘れられない不思議なメロディーライン。今のR＆Bにはあまり見られない、キラリと光るセンスと個性のあるシンガーです。彼は。Ms.Wonderfulいいですよ。なんかほろ苦い恋の始まりという感じです。Virginではそのまんま初体験の事を歌っています。”もし君の親父さんが俺のことを気に入らなければ、ガキが生まれるって嘘つくさ。。”なんて
