こちら「トゥー・ザ・スターズ」は2004年、11年振りに再結成したエレクトリック・バンドがリリースした7thアルバム。チック・コリアが溺愛するＬ・ロン・ハバードの同名SF小説を題材にしたものとなっている。メンバーは Chick Corea (key) Eric Marienthal (sax) Frank Gambale (g) John Patitucci (ba) Dave Weckl (dr) なんて凄い顔触れだろうか。まさにこれこそがエレクトリック・バンドと言う様な、ダイナミックで多彩な音楽性と、嵐の様にハードなハイパー・テクニックの応酬が何しろ素晴らしい。

　よく聞くと、チックはアコでもエレクトリックでも変わっていない。そりゃ、同じ人間だもの。そして、よく聞くと、これって相当楽しい。ギターの部分をヴァイヴに置き換えると、「クリスタル・サイレンス」かもしれないな。そんな聞き方が出来る。
