Five Peace Band Live

The project that everyone has been anxiously awaiting since around the end of 2007 is now finally happening. It is indeed about 40 years ago that Chick Corea and John McLaughlin played together, when they joined the sessions for Miles' "Bitches Brew"! The pair are battressed by super players Christian McBride (b) and Kenny Garrett (sax) on this unit. The quartet toured round the world and received great applause everywhere they went. This double-CD title features hot live materials from their shows in Europe, with a special guest appearance from Herbie Hancock!!

The tracklist includes "In A Silent Way/ It's About That Time" and a standard tune "Someday My Prince Will Come", along with the unit's own original materials. This is a must-listen if you consider yourself a proper jazz listener.
