Two of his major musical influences are his grandfather, the legendary 'Rock n' Roll' Hall of Famer, Fat's Domino, and his father Charles Brimmer, a great soul singer in his own right. Chevis' goal as an artist is for his varied styles to evoke a feeling as if the listener is experiencing his actuality at that moment.
