チープ・トリックはこれまでにも“Day Tripper”“Magical Mystery Tour”とビートルズのカバーがあり、しかもかなりかっこいいアレンジでした。今回はどんなかっこいいアレンジで聴かせてくれるのかと期待していたところ・・・今までのカバーとは意味が違う別物！！です。完全に予想を裏切る驚愕のライヴ！！でした。通常ライヴではスタジオ・レコーディングの表現できない（しにくい）ところはギター・ソロを入れたり、別のアレンジにしたりするもの（悪く言えばごまかしてしまう）ですが、このＬＩＶＥはすごいです。ビートルズのサージェント・ペパーズを、ニューヨーク・フィルハーモニーやインディアン・シタール・バンドまで使いディテイルにこだわって再現しています。当のビートルズさえ、サージェント・ペパーズをライヴで再現なんてしなかったことを思えば、このロック史に残る名盤を、ここまで高いクオリティでライヴで再現したのはチープ・トリックがはじめてではないでしょうか？多分。スタジオ・レコーディングをほぼ完全にライヴで再現するって、かなり大変なことのはずです、こんなことを最初にやろうと言い出したのはいったい誰だったのでしょうか？とにかくいいものを聴かせてもらいました。
