Stashed under her dresser, Chandra Knudsen has four (severely decorated) draft books full of songs she's written. One could either say she has no life, or is a musical genius, for she is able to start and finish a song within one day. Sometimes inspiration hits while in the shower, other times boredom brings her to sit down with her guitar. Every song Chandra has written has been impacted by real life experiences. Many have compared her song writing style to that of Taylor Swift, however, the tone and range of her voice has been said to resemble Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson. Chandra has her own unique sound due to the many musical influences she has. Lifehouse, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Luke Bryan, Daughtry, Lesley Roy, SafetySuit, Plumb, Skillet and Taylor Swift are all some of the artists from whom she draws inspiration. If she had to describe her style she would say Pop/Country, however, she is also known for her meaningful Christian originals.
