韓国胡弓〜ヘグム〜の奏者で、韓国国楽界の若手の中で実力・人気ともNO・1と云われているコッピョルのデビューアルバム。
韓国胡弓〜ヘグム〜は、日本では殆ど馴染みの無い楽器ですが、中国胡弓と同じ歴史を持ち、尚且つ中国胡弓より原型のままのスタイルを保っています。ヘグムの音色は、美しく郷愁を誘うメロディーを奏でると共に、更に野性的で、人間の肉声に近いものです。
所謂、韓国民謡のＣＤなどで韓国の国楽器として使用されている作品は多数有りますが、ヘグムをリーダー楽器としてＣＤ化するのは日本初の作品となります。
日韓同時デビューを果たす、Player,Composerとしてのコッピョルの瑞々しい感性を存分にご堪能下さい。

This is a debut album of the young Korean haegum player Ccotbyel. The music is romantic and beautiful, the haegum sounds in its usual touching way. I loved all tracks. Ccotbyel plays her haegum with acoustic guitar, percussions, harp, horn, koto, and other instruments. Two tracks on this CD feature the solo piano of the Japanese New Age pianist Isao Sasaki. I recommend this album to all romantic people!

ヘグムという韓国の胡弓の独特な音色、初めて耳にしました。特に最後の「朝露」は泣けるほど素晴らしい！この楽器の持つ特徴を駆使し、表現力豊かな歌に仕上げている。 この曲だけ参加している木須康一というピアニストにも注目。
