She's been compared to songstresses Fiona Apple, Duffy, Joni Mitchell and Norah Jones, but has created a distinctive sound that will surely secure a unique place among them (BUST Magazine). Shortly after moving to NYC, Casey met kindred spirit and producer Dan Siegler (HBO, Showtime, Morley, Chris Dowd of Fishbone), and the two began working on her first album. Casey acquainted herself with the City's musical landscape at venues such as Cafe Vivaldi and The Bitter End, delivering her uniquely engaging repertoire of original songs with the sweetness and genuine charm to pack a performance space (Music Historian).
