UKラヴァーズ・レゲエの名盤、キャロル・トンプソンの1st『Hopelesly In Love』をプロデュースしたバーティ・グラントが当時主宰していたS&Gレーベル作品がBadda Musicより登場することに。その第一弾がこのキャロル・トンプソンの2ndアルバムにあたるコアファン涎垂の傑作。プロデューサーのバーティは、シュガー・マイノットのBlack Roots UKとしても活躍していただめ、彼の作品の多くには天才プレーヤー、ジャッキー・ミットーが参加しており、本作でもピアノで参加。1曲目の’World of Love’のドラマチックなイントロを聴いただけでトリコになる魔法のような1枚。ちなみにアルバムのカヴァーの使われている写真はネナ・チェリーのオットでもあり、マッシヴ・アタック『Blue Lines』やポーティス・ヘッド『Dumm』などのプロデューサーとしてもし荒れるCameron McVeyによって手掛けられたものだとか。
