CADENCE is internationally recognized for their unique Canadian approach to a cappella vocal music. Performance requests have come from all over North America and Europe, and as far away as Venezuela and Egypt. During the past five years, the CADENCE performance schedule has been highlighted by appearances on radio and television, at Toronto's SkyDome, and the 2001 World Leaders tribute to Quincy Jones. In 2003 CADENCE had the honour of an 'impromptu' performance with Bobby McFerrin at the Montreal Jazz Festival. Most recently, the band won first place and 'audience favourite' at the New York Regional Harmony Sweepstakes.
