1968年発売、ザ・バーズ 6作目のスタジオ・アルバム『Sweetheart Of The Rodeo』（ロデオの恋人）レガシー・エディションの初アナログ盤化。1967年にデヴィッド・クロスビーが脱退し、カントリーの中心人物でもあるグラム・パーソンズが加入。この加入はロジャー・マッギンとクリス・ヒルマンに大きな影響を与える。ブルーグラスなど伝統的なカントリーミュージックを含んだ今作は、その後メンバーとなるクラレンス・ホワイトなどと共にナッシュビルでレコーディングされた。発売50周年となる今年、オリジナルメンバーであるロジャー・マッギンとクリス・ヒルマンが記念コンサートツアーを行った。
