Bucky Covington was a finalist in the 5th season of AMERICAN IDOL, where he went on to win the hearts of the American public finishing 8th on the show. As part of his exposure on AMERICAN IDOL, Bucky performed on Tonight Show, Regis & Kelly and Ellen. He also starred on the AMERICAN IDOL tour. He now releases his debut album which includes the first single A Different World.

気取らないハスキーヴォイスはカントリーを歌わせるとなんともいえない情趣漂う感じですごくいい！！アメアイ５出身者は実力はぞろいですね。

ビジュアルとしては珍しい、貴公子風ブロンドヘアに加えてヒゲ。アランジャクソンの現代ワイルド版か？アメリカンアイドルに名前が出ていたからその出身なのだろう。ジャケットを見るまでは、そのボーカルスタイル、曲調を聴いて正統派の渋めの遅咲きデビューとおもっていた。それが②のヒット。渋い。しかしチャート上昇中。昨今新人デビューヒットが続いているが、「本物」かどうか？！これから期待。
