Originally released nationwide in the U.S. on August 25, 1975, Bruce Springsteen’s landmark album Born to Run marks its 50th anniversary this year. To commemorate the milestone, “Born to Run (50th Anniversary Japan Edition)” will be released on December 24, 2025.

This special package includes the SA-CD HYBRID edition of Born to Run, along with a complete live performance from the historic Born to Run Tour: (Post Dome, C.W. Post College, Greenvale, NY 12/12/1975, released in the Live Archive Series). Widely known as the concert from which the live recording of “Santa Claus Is Comin’ To Town” was commercially released, the performance was captured on multi-track tape, resulting in a remarkably high-quality live recording.

Five songs from Born to Run are featured, opening with a beautiful ‘Thunder Road’ and culminating in blistering renditions of the ‘Detroit Medley’ and ‘Quarter to Three,’ offering a vivid document of Springsteen and the E Street Band at the peak of their youthful, electrifying intensity.

The iconic album cover is faithfully reproduced for the first time in a 7-inch paper-sleeve format (reproduced from the Original U.S. First-Press LP), and the set includes a special bonus fold-out poster featuring the classic gatefold artwork.
