８０’Ｓに青春時代を過ごした者にとって前の時代（７０’Ｓ）の映像は超お宝。当時はそうそうお目にかかれなかったが、デジタル時代になりようやく正規盤を入手出来る様になったのだが（大枚はたいて）正直、私的には少々期待外れでした。ＫＩＳＳの「Ｋｉｓｓｏｌｏｇｙ　Ｖｏｌ．１」同様、カメラワーク、ライティング等に古さを感じるのはいたしかたない所でしょう。彼の映像作品で最も「生々しい」とこは感じ取れるのだが・・・本ＢＯＸに収録のＣＤは「世界唯一デジタル・リマスター」だっ！

アメリカンロックの金字塔!! 　このアルバムで、スプリングスティーンは頂点を極め、人気実力とも不動のものにし”ボス”の称号を与えられた． 　ボブディランに変わりシーンを牽引し始めたのは確実にここからだろう． フォーク、ソウル、R＆Bをルーツに独自のロックンロールを追究した完成形がスプリングスティーンだと言っても過言ではない． 　青春の甘酸っぱさ、破れたジーンズに油に塗れた白いTシャツ… 　なんの飾り立てのないスタイルがスプリングスティーンの代名詞であり、まさに本物のワーキングクラスヒーローなのだ．
