All Over The Map

My interest in music, and my songwriting, covers a wide range of musical styles. The attentive listener will hear influences ranging from the early 50's rock, to the Beatles, to a bit of country, some jazz and even classical music. Many of my songs have a bit of my slightly twisted sense of humor in their lyrical content. Lush vocal harmonies find their way onto many tracks. Unlike most song writers, i don't write only from my perspective. I imagine people much different from me, and write from their perspectives. On this album I write from the viewpoint of a 10 year old boy growing up in a violent home (or maybe an adult having a nightmare about that childhood): Track 4. I wrote a song as a teenager living in the 60's with music reflecting that time: Track 7. On track 8, i play the absolutely clueless, non-pc ass. The album is titled 'All Over the Map', because musically that's where I am. Hope you find something to enjoy.
