Texas Blues Rocks

Brother2Brother's first CD, 'Lookin' For Texas,' earned a place on the GRAMMY ballot in two categories. The second CD, 'Texas Blues Rocks.' will be released later this year, but digital downloads of the album are available now on CDBaby. Although B2B is billed as a Texas Style Blues Band, the CD encompasses a variety of musical styles much the way Texas Blues does. The title song, Texas Blues Rocks, tells the story of Texas Blues which incorporates Blues, Rock, Country, Jazz and Western Swing. The CD is dedicated to B2B's first bass player, Mike 'Lowboy' Leubner, who passed away before the CD was complete. The CD features Lowboy on 3 songs, including his arrangement of Jimmy Thackery's 'Cool Guitars,' which was always a corwd pleaser at B2B's live performances. Band Members are Singer Sandy Hickey, Guitarist Jon Cometta, Drummer Dan Jones, Bassist Ernie Diaz and founding band member Norm Uhl, who plays Keys and Harmonica. The CD was produced by Norm Uhl and Jon Cometta.
