Broken Toys formed in Stockton California in 1984, and immediately took the alternative music scene by storm. The band played more than 800 shows during it's lifetime, both as headliner and as an opening act for such acts as The Church, Modern English, Echo and the Bunnymen, and Wild Swans. In 1987, Broken Toys released it's only album, 'The Cut of Memory' and became a critical success. The band's dark, Euro-centric sound was a watershed, and this remastered edition fully captures it at it's finest moment.
