A native of Houston, Brian Shirk has called Texas home all of his life. Currently residing in the Austin area, he remains active in the local music scene playing in select projects and most recently getting back to his roots as a solo artist. After toiling away in the studio on his first full length collection of original tunes with seasoned producer Omar Vallejo, Brian is ready to share his musical vision with the world. Titled 'On The Inside', this collection of songs realize the promise of a well rounded artist versed in various styles, much like the storied musical landscape of his native state. Ever the sensitive poet and with songs culled from years of introspective songwriting, Brian populates his world with shades of rock, pop, blues, and country, echoing decades of his rich musical heritage.
