ワールドミュージックの概念が無いころに録音され、ブライアンは逝ってしまったがヤツの音楽性がイッちまっていた名盤、ガキのころは見向きもしなかったが９０年代のリイシューで取りつかれフェイバレットディスクへ、オーネット・コールマン（ダンシング…）も「コンチネンタルドリフト」もこれの影響が大、その後おいらもライやアフロビートに大はまりになっちまった、シングルレイヤーのＳＡＣＤ化はストーンズよりこれや！！

ローリング・ストーンズの初期のリーダーがモロッコにて現地の演奏を集め、帰英後まとめあげた最狂のトリップ音楽。自宅プールにて怪死を遂げたブライアンの唯一のソロ・アルバムにして遺作でもある。元々は71年にリリースされたが廃盤、95年になって再発された。あまりのトランス感ゆえに発狂するリスナーが続出、結果廃盤に…というのは考えすぎか。こんな夜１人で聴くのは絶対に避けたい演奏を街角の庶民から集めたってんだから、モロッコって一体…。普通に聴くよりも防犯対策とか勧誘撃退とかそっち方面で需要が高そうだ。
