Comprising the talents of four London-based lads - Duncan James, Antony Costa, Simon Webbe and Lee Ryan - Blue are the hottest new act to emerge in 2001. Their debut single 'All Rise' entered the UK chart at number four and stayed in the top ten for five weeks, whilst their second single 'Too Close' went on to be an even bigger hit, crashing into the the chart at number one at the beginning of September. Both singles have gone silver, selling in excess of 200,000 copies each.
Now comes the debut album 'All Rise', a collection of classic tunes recorded in the UK and Norway with a variety of producers and writers, including the inimitable Stargate and Ray Ruffin (son of Motown legend Jimmy Ruffin). With 'All Rise'- the album, the emphasis is on tough grooves and soulful vocals - with tracks ranging from the smooth disco-tinged RnB of 'Too Close' to the classic pop harmonies of the mid-tempo 'If You Come Back', which beautifully showcases Lee's vocals. Watch out too for the brazenly funky debut single 'All Rise', a seriously hook-filled blend of melodic harmonicas, crisp percussive beats and plenty of vocal attitude.

Blueは前から好きだったけど、カーテン・フォールズを聴いてから本格的にファンになりました。album『Al Rise』の３番と６番に入ってる曲は私にとって最高です！今では活動休止中ですが、今はとにかくメンバーがそれぞれ活躍するのを願うのみですね★★

3枚のオリジナルの中では一番聞きやすい作品かもしれません。4･12のような曲って彼らの中では案外珍しい気もしますが、いいと思います。私のお気に入りは4･9･12。(9でのダンカンさんのあのものすごいフェイクを生で聴きたいものです)
