Blind Ruby is ; Singer/Songwriter Darcey LoGiudice Stubblefield, Drummer James Stubblefield, and Acoustic Bass Don Erikson. Sometimes referred to as 'Free Range Alternative', this trio is known for their acoustically driven 'cautionary tales' set in Darcey's 'sweetly dark and eccentric' storytelling style. Darcey Stubblefield's four string Tenor Guitar weaves throughout the tracks, as well as her Baritone Ukulele, giving Blind Ruby a warm and unique guitar sound. The Blind Ruby album 'Outside', includes two original songs written by Darcey, and performed by Blind Ruby for an independent feature film titled; 'Montana Amazon, Adventures of the Dunderheads'. Starring; Olympia Dukakis, Haley Joel Osment, and Alison Brie. The Song 'When we get to Canada', is featured over the end credits of the film and, 'Womples Theme' was written for the Haley Joel Osment Character; 'Womple Dunderhead'.
