Simply entitled 'Bjork's Greatest Hits', this album has been compiled by a unique web vote which enabled fans to choose which tracks were their favourites and/or best reflected Bjork's solo career to date. Interestingly, her biggest hits were not necessarily amongst the most chosen tracks and thus the final tracklisting truly demonstrates that this album is not simply a commercial entity, but a true representation of Bjork's evolution into the eclectic and pioneering artist we know today. The 15 tracks mark Bjork's progression as an artist and retrospectively reflect on a solo career that has spanned more than a decade, including the release of four solo albums, 'Debut', 'Post', 'Homogenic' and, most recently, 'Vespertine'. Tracks include: 'All Is Full Of Love', 'Play Dead', 'Human Behaviour' and 'Venus As A Boy'.

Human Behaviourを聴く時の身体中がゾワゾワする感じやHidden Placeの怖気立つけど発光するような恍惚感。JogaもAll Is Full〜も限りなく大地と神妙に近くなるし。これ聴かずに次回作Medullaに私は走ってしまったのですが、やっと最近聴いてみて、このベストが彼女のアーリータイムズを総括し落ち着かせる意味でとても重要だったように思います。

ビョークの歌を始めてこのCDで聴きました。世界観がとても独特なのでちょっと自分には合わなかったかもしれませんが最初の５曲ぐらい好きになりました。一番気に入ったのはVenus As A BOYです。可愛らしくて素敵な歌だと思います。ビョークを写真で見て邪気が全く無い人だなぁと思いました。
