Bernhard Lackner's Transition albums contains some classy and unique compositions played by fantastic musicians. For the first time there is a great vocalist, Lena Mentschel, part of the project who gives the band an entire new character. World class saxophonist Jeff Coffin convinces with mind blowing tenor sax solos, backed up by a driving and superb rhythmsection around Lackner. Derico Watson and Marcus Finnie on drums supported by multipercussionist Pete Lockett. On piano the album features Michael Whittaker, Christian Wegscheider and Christian Stckelschweiger. On guitar Mike Bauer and Scott Bernard did some wonderful playing on the CD and last but not least Mr. De Marco Johnson appears on harmonica and piano!
