The latest edition of this popular series featuring the Benny Goodman Orchestra which documents the complete series of radio programs broadcast during the latter part of the 1940s. This CD volume ten includes as guests, Hedda Hopper acidic critic, actress and radio personality famed for her vitriolic newspaper columns and long time rival Louella Parsons. In her prolific career she featured in numerous films and radio shows and she is honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contribution to the film industry. Noted film, television and radio actor William Bendix is the guest on the second program. Many will remember him as Sir Sacramore with Bing Crosby in the movie A Connecticut Yankee in the Court of King Arthur singing Busy Doing Nothing.
