The latest edition of this popular series featuring the Benny Goodman Orchestra which documents the complete series of radio programs broadcast during the latter part of the 1940s. This CD volume ten includes as guests, Jimmy Durante and Phil Silvers legendary for his performances as the ebullient Seargeant Bilko. In the second program on this CD the guest is Billie Burke who most people will remember for her performance as Glinda the Good Witch of the North in the movie the Wizard of Oz. During her prolific acting career she appeared in a number of notable films both silent and sound. Billie was also the wife of Florenz Ziegfeld, Jr.. of Ziegfeld Follies fame.
