On this spectacular recording of baroque masterworks, Maestro Jordi Savall leads Le Concert des Nations and La Capella Reial de Catalunya in performances of Magnificat settings by J.S. Bach and Vivaldi. Recorded live at the Royal Chapel in Versailles in 2013, each of the choral works is paired with a concerto by the same composer in the same tonality. A bonus DVD is included (in PAL format only) that includes both Magnificats and Bach's Harpsichord Concerto BWV243, played by keyboard virtuoso Pierre Hantai.
