54年という短い生涯の間にバッハの教会カンタータを76曲と世俗カンタータ1曲を録音したカール･リヒター。「マタイ受難曲」や「ヨハネ受難曲」といった大作を含め、バッハ演奏の歴史に素晴らしい功績を残しました。バッハ生誕333年を迎える今年、リヒターが残したバッハのカンタータ集を、日本語歌詞対訳付で値下げ再発売します。
第30番はバッハ最晩年のカンタータのひとつで、1738年6月24日の洗礼者ヨハネの祝日用に書かれました。第147番はコラール「主よ、人の望みの喜びよ」で知られるカンタータ。聖母マリアのエリザベツ御訪問記念日用に書かれ、1723年7月2日に初演されました。
