モテット集の初出は箱入り２枚組ＬＰでしたが、１９８８年のＣＤ化に際して　『おお、イエス・キリスト、わが生命の光』ＢＷＶ１１８　が割愛され１枚物として今日まで販売されてきました。ＢＷＶ１１８はこの盤がＣＤ世界初復刻となります。

長らく入手困難だったアンドレアス・ショルの歌うロ短調ミサの復活です。一般的には、旧録の方が評価が高いようですが、私はなんと言っても新録がお勧めです。
