Hailed as among the most singular youthful compositions of their time, Igor Markevitch’s astonishingly vivid original works have been released to critical acclaim by Naxos. Markevitch outdoes Webern’s famous orchestration of the six-part Ricercare (8.557531) by arranging J.S.
