「もうすぐ時計の針は１２時を回ろうとしています。昨日と今日が出会う時・・」、これはＮＨＫ−ＦＭの深夜のプログラム『クロスオーヴァー・イレブン』の津嘉山氏のエンディング・ナレーションの名文句だ。そのナレーションの後ろで流れているのがこのアルバムに収録されている「オウトゥブロ」だ。この音楽は当時睡眠誘発剤として効果的面だった。今でも寝れないときにこの曲を聴くと心地よくなっていつの間にかウツラウツラしてくる。まさしくこの曲が「パブロフの犬現象」なのだ。きっと、僕だけではないだろう。
